THE LATEST FROM PCI STAFF IN PORT-AU-PRINCE

PCI is providing immediate relief to the people of Haiti.
“Despite all of [their] losses, [the Haitians I met] focused the conversation on how they could get back on their feet and how they could help their neighbors... there is no time to give in to despair as we continue to support them as they rebuild their lives, one day at a time...”

PCI HAITI EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE: UPDATE

PCI has provided immediate humanitarian assistance to more than 60,000 survivors of the January 12th earthquake: through its network in and around Port-au-Prince, PCI helped to distribute US $6 million of vital emergency supplies, medicines, and medical equipment to hospitals, clinics, and other health providers.

PCI continues to work in close collaboration with local and international partners to establish and maintain the infrastructure needed to deliver food, water, hygiene kits, and kitchen sets to affected families.

In addition, PCI is also working with partners to help nearly 215,000 survivors address issues related to protection for women and children, economic recovery, water and sanitation, health, and shelters for the displaced.

Your donation in support of PCI’s Haiti Response Fund will strengthen our efforts to save lives and provide for basic necessities that survivors so badly need. Read more >
